(20) JUNCTIONS

[ms50 junctions]
- junctions

[bullet] These junctions are for connecting one output to several inputs. This means that you can take the output signal from any one module and connect it to the input jacks of several other modules. Note, however, that these junctions are not designed for the opposite kind of connection. In other words, you cannot use these to mix several outputs together to produce a single signal. When you want to mix several output signals you have to use the adding amp. This is because the synthesizer modules are voltage controlled; the voltage of a control signal must be within the range suited to the module it is being used to control.

Of course even if you accidentally connect several outputs to these junctions, the synthesizer will not suffer any damage, so there is no need to worry. The junction jacks are connected in parallel.
