The PS-3100 has a built-in patch designed with playability In mind. (Of course one of the big features of this synthesizer is that these internal connections is maybe overridden and an external patch freely set up.) Needless to say, the more you know about how the built-in patch is set up the more effectively you will be able to use it to create sounds. The paths of all control signals as connected in the internal patch are shown in figure 33.
As you can see, it is possible to create
quite complex sounds with the built-in patch by adjusting such functions as
the SIGNAL GENERATORS and DYNAMIC LP FILTERS by means of the modulation and
intensity controls.
